Annual plans are billed once a year at the per-month rate shown times twelve. Starter is 25 pages per document; Plus and Pro have no per-document page limit.
If all you need is the plain text off a scan, a cloud API is about ten times cheaper than any DocuOCR plan and you should use one. Ask a questionEach plan includes a monthly allowance of pages, and the number you get depends on which AI model you choose at extraction time. Base AI processes pages faster; Pro AI delivers the highest field-level accuracy. Your allowance resets on your billing anniversary each month, and unused pages do not roll over.
Once your included pages are used up, extraction pauses until the next billing cycle. You can upgrade your plan at any time mid-month, and the higher allowance kicks in immediately and you are only charged the prorated difference for the remainder of the period.
Yes. You can switch from monthly to yearly billing at any time to lock in the 50% discount. The yearly plan starts right away: you pay the yearly price today, minus a credit for the unused part of your current month. A switch from yearly to monthly takes effect at the start of your next billing period. Payments are final, so an annual plan is not refunded once paid; cancelling stops the next renewal. All plans export to Excel XLSX, CSV and JSON. Plus adds QuickBooks (QBO) export and financial reports. Pro and Enterprise add JSON output over the REST API, so you can push structured data straight into any ERP, RPA platform or internal system without a manual download.
No. Your documents are processed under strict data isolation, and they are never used to train or improve shared models. All files are encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+).
Cloud OCR APIs charge $1.50 per 1,000 pages for plain text and $10 to $30 per 1,000 for structured fields, with the parsing, review and export left for you to build. Finished extraction software is sold as a monthly page allowance instead: DocuOCR runs from $49 a month for 2,500 pages to $9,980 for 700,000 (Enterprise), which is $7.11 to $19.60 per 1,000 pages depending on plan and billing period.
Every subscription includes a monthly page allowance. Each processed page counts toward that allowance, so you can choose a plan using the page count you already know from your scanner or document system. Unused pages do not roll over. Per-document pricing, which some receipt and invoice tools use, only works out cheaper when almost everything you process is a single page.
There is a one-time demo rather than a free plan. The live demo on the homepage extracts a document without a signup, and a new account can run 10 of its own documents once (up to 10 pages each) to check the extracted fields against the originals before picking a plan. That is the test that matters: accuracy on your layouts, not on a vendor's sample invoice. Plans bill monthly or annually and cancel from your account settings at any time.
